Well 2020 called and said stay home & wash your hands. This past
November 2019, the Moon Bar Blast into Fort Worth with a huge grand
opening & a concert calendar filled to the brim with the best rock n
roll talent in America. The Moon: Bar
and Live Music was back better than ever. Located just blocks away from TCU, the Moon is a brand
new bar, concert venue, & restaurant that epitomizes the best about Fort
Worth nightlife & brings into play the daylife too, with tons of the
day's biggest sporting events on our TVs, a huge dog friendly patio and
"The Crater" outdoor festival space slated for upcoming festivals, intramurals, & tons of
events for the surrounding TCU neighboorhoods. Select Saturday's and Sundays offered
matinee concerts & outdoor competitions, so families can come
partake in some fun too while everyone plays! Then in March we all
went into lockdown. But while the world waits & prays & hopes, we
know one thing, the Moon will be here to stay so when life resumes, the
Moon Bar will lead the way into the future of live music, creative food,
and the best entertainment in Fort Worth.

Currently all live music events have been postponed. But when the
pandemic is over and all is good for mankind, at night, the Moon Bar
will dim its lights, plugs in the amps, and transforms back to it's humble roots as a much-beloved hot spot and concert venue hosting some of the best musicians and bands from across Texas, including many of the best local indie-rock talent from right here in Fort Worth. For fans of live music, this is the return of Ft Worth's most intimate stage and promises an in-your-face experience with some of the best indie bands in the world. Originally open from 2004 thru 2011, the Moon Bar is one of Fort Worth's most celebrated live music venues and one of America's premiere college bars (as seen inside the pages of Maxim, Playboy, & The Skiff).
Having hosted hundreds of national touring bands & some of the best music acts in North Texas, the Moon was known for it's stiff drinks and awesome mix of music -- as well as it's diverse, beautiful, and funky Fort Worth crowd.

Fast forward to Nov. 9 2019 -- the Moon Bar is back where it belongs, on W. Berry Street, just a block from the TCU campus and just minutes from downtown Fort Worth. Conveniently located at the intersection of W. Berry St and 8th Ave/Cleburne Rd junction, this beautiful new location has an indoor rock n roll cocktail lounge, a huge dog-friendly outdoor beer garden, TVs to watch all the games, and tons of free parking....
